About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with strong expertise in ITOM and ITSM modules. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with various discovery methods (Cloud, Pattern, and Network), troubleshooting pattern issues, and implementing advanced ServiceNow solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating ServiceNow functionalities to support business needs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions within the ServiceNow platform, primarily focusing on ITOM and ITSM modules.
  • Perform Cloud, Pattern, and Network Discovery to ensure comprehensive IT asset visibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex pattern-related issues.
  • Develop and enhance Service Portals to improve user experience.
  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure solutions comply with best practices and governance standards for ServiceNow development.
  • Optimize and automate workflows, business rules, and scripts for efficient operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in ITOM and ITSM modules.
  • Strong knowledge of Discovery types: Cloud, Pattern, and Network Discovery.
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging discovery patterns.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow server/client scripting.
  • Experience with Service Portal customization and widget development.
  • Strong background in REST/SOAP API integrations and MID Server configuration.
  • Understanding of CMDB architecture and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with Event Management and Orchestration.
  • Solid problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • ServiceNow CSA, CIS-ITSM, or CIS-ITOM certifications.
  • Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Automation capabilities.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
  • Experience in performance tuning and platform optimization.
