Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead our business development efforts. This role involves supervising a team, driving strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring the successful acquisition and retention of clients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the IT industry, strong leadership skills, and the ability to engage effectively with US-based clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of Business Development Executives, set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company growth objectives, identify new business opportunities and markets, and devise plans to target them.
  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders, oversee the client acquisition process, and ensure that the team delivers a high level of service and meets client expectations.
  • Sales Management: Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, provide guidance and support to the team in closing deals and negotiating contracts, and develop and manage a sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of business opportunities.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions, conduct research to identify potential clients and emerging market trends, and use data-driven insights to refine business development strategies and improve lead generation efforts.
  • CRM & Reporting: Oversee the maintenance of accurate client records and sales activities in the CRM system, prepare and present detailed reports on business development activities, sales progress, and market trends to senior management, and ensure the team adheres to best practices in CRM usage and data management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns with business development goals, partner with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction, and contribute to the continuous improvement of business development processes and tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales management, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Proven track record of leading successful business development teams and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT services and solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage a team across different time zones.

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
