AEM Administrator Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain AEM environments, including on-premise and cloud-based solutions.
  • Perform regular system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal AEM performance.
  • Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations to maintain a secure environment.
  • Collaborate with development teams to support deployments, patches, and upgrades of AEM applications.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for AEM deployments to streamline the development process.
  • Monitor and optimize AEM performance, availability, and scalability to meet business needs.
  • Support migration efforts from on-premise to AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) or hybrid models.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing.
  • Provide on-call support and incident resolution as needed to minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience administering Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of AEM architecture, including author/publish instances, dispatcher, and replication agents.
  • Experience with AEM on-premise and AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Git, and Adobe Cloud Manager.
  • Understanding of web technologies, including Apache, HTTP, SSL, CDN, etc.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools, including New Relic, Splunk, and Datadog.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
