Business Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to join our Wealth Management Firm. This is a full-time on-site role based in Pune, where you will be responsible for identifying potential partners, establishing and maintaining business relationships, and negotiating and closing partnership deals.

The successful candidate will have expertise in business development, partnership management, and negotiation. You will develop and execute strategic partnership plans, collaborate with internal teams to align on goals and objectives, and ensure smooth onboarding and integration of partners.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Generating leads and establishing contact with Mutual Fund Distributors, Income Tax Professionals, and Chartered Accountants
  • Providing them with information about Tata AIA and AIG and the business opportunities available with these institutions
  • Convincing them to join as Advisors/Agency Partners
  • Completing documentation, training, scheduling exams, and completing onboarding processes
  • Assisting them in commencing their initial business
  • Creating daily content for digital marketing and posting on social media platforms

Key qualifications include:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Experience in business development, partnership management, and negotiation
  • Finance, wealth management, and insurance industry awareness
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with the specific industry or market is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
