Building Information Modeling (BIM) Project Lead

Job Description:

The successful BIM Project Lead will oversee the management of multiple Architecture, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting) BIM projects simultaneously. This seasoned BIM expert will lead project teams, manage project schedules, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
  • Lead and manage multiple BIM projects concurrently, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and workflows to optimize project delivery.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to project teams, ensuring they adhere to established BIM standards and methodologies.
  • Proactively identify and address project-related challenges and issues.
Client Engagement:
  • Serve as the principal point of contact for clients, maintaining strong and lasting client relationships.
  • Attend client meetings to understand their project requirements, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or inquiries.
  • Collaborate with clients to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed their expectations.
Business Development:
  • Participate in business meetings to contribute to the growth and expansion of BIM services.
  • Leverage your extensive industry experience to identify new business opportunities and showcase advanced BIM capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to win and secure new projects.
Budget Oversight:
  • Exercise oversight of project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation to ensure financial viability.
  • Implement cost-effective strategies without compromising project quality or client satisfaction.
  • Maintain control over project timelines and take corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
Best Practices Implementation:
  • Establish industry-leading best practices in BIM project management, adhering to relevant industry standards and guidelines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the BIM team.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in BIM technology and methodologies.
