BIM Management Position

The role of the BIM Lead is pivotal in driving the adoption and implementation of Building Information Modeling technologies to enhance design, planning, and execution of precast construction projects. This position supports the strategic focus on delivering innovative infrastructure solutions by leveraging advanced modeling tools to optimize project workflows, improve accuracy, and ensure seamless collaboration across engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the development and maintenance of accurate BIM models for precast construction projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BIM workflows into project execution.
  • Utilize Tekla software to create detailed 3D models, perform clash detection, and generate construction documentation.
  • Establish and enforce BIM standards and best practices within the organization.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members on BIM tools and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure alignment on BIM deliverables.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of BIM implementation and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support strategic planning and decision-making related to BIM adoption and technology investments.
  • Ensure timely delivery of BIM outputs to meet project milestones and client expectations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technologies.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proficiency in Tekla software and other BIM tools, with a strong portfolio of precast modeling projects.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on infrastructure or construction projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in implementing BIM workflows and standards in large-scale projects.
