Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Risk Management Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for protecting our operations, customers, and reputation from risks.

About the Role

You will design and drive dynamic risk management frameworks to address legal, financial, and operational risks. You will build a culture where risk isn't just managed - it's anticipated and solved before it surfaces.

You will own and oversee recovery litigations, fraud investigations, and critical disputes. You will represent CARS24 with precision and confidence in consumer forums, motor accident claims, and high-stakes criminal matters.

You will take charge of resolving high-priority customer escalations, including complex Registration Certificate (RC) transfer cases, ensuring trust and satisfaction are always delivered.

You will ensure regulatory compliance across jurisdictions and business verticals. You will proactively monitor legal changes to keep CARS24 ahead of the curve.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement risk management frameworks to address legal, financial, and operational risks.
  • Oversight of recovery litigations, fraud investigations, and critical disputes.
  • Representation of CARS24 in consumer forums, motor accident claims, and high-stakes criminal matters.
  • Resolution of high-priority customer escalations, including RC transfer cases.
  • Regulatory compliance across jurisdictions and business verticals.
  • Monitoring of legal changes to stay ahead of the curve.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in risk management, litigation, or legal affairs, preferably in high-growth industries.
  • A track record of managing high-stakes litigations, criminal cases, and regulatory challenges with finesse.
  • Understanding of consumer law, corporate governance, and compliance frameworks.
  • Leadership skills, inspiring teams to deliver results in high-pressure situations.
  • Strategic thinking and exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing internal teams and external regulators alike.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
