As a Director of International Card Services India Market Legal Entity Control Management at American Express, you will lead critical workstreams on complex multi-year change management initiatives to establish and ensure effective controls frameworks and monitoring oversight procedures for Third parties in partnership with Process Owners providing critical technology platforms and services.
You will own aggregate risk assessments and ongoing monitoring of operational risks for outsourced platforms and services, providing strategic and Operational Risk (OR) specific advice to ensure effective identification, quantification, communication, and management of aggregate risks to the business.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in operational risk management, preferably within the Risk and/or Internal Audit function, with a strong understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities.
Key skills include project management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, process governance expertise, analytical problem-solving abilities, and experience in auditing and performance reviews of technology service providers.
Additional preferred qualifications include experience in assessing business unit leader needs, compiling best practices, coordinating product development teams, and facilitating operational risk awareness and education.
