**Job Description**
As the Director of Risk Management in our Global Merchant and Network Services team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and security of our operations. You'll lead a diverse team of professionals who are dedicated to identifying, assessing, mitigating, and reporting operational risks within our business processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead control monitoring and proactively communicate key operational risk trends, activities, and events to senior management
- Identify areas of high-risk for intervention, including conducting independent quality assurance and vertical process testing
- Provide additional identification of risks throughout business processes and systems
- Champion risk management practices within the business
- Develop risk dashboards for ongoing monitoring
**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- 8+ years of experience in operational risk management, with a strong understanding of critical operational risk management lifecycle activities
- Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and obtain buy-in from senior business and technical counterparts
- Expertise in process governance, with a track record of establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes
- Experience within the financial services industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and evaluate risk scenarios effectively
