Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Maintain efficient kitchen operations by analyzing food production costs and implementing measures to optimize performance.
- Monitor staff productivity and time management, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Provide ongoing training and coaching to junior chefs, promoting their growth and development within the company.
- Ensure safe and quality food products, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Advanced culinary skills, with a minimum of 8 years' experience in high-end hotels and restaurants.
- Proven leadership abilities, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role in a luxury hospitality establishment or upscale cruise line.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to interact effectively with senior management.
- Able to make informed decisions and lead a team of chefs to achieve exceptional results.
- Good administrative skills, with experience in coaching and developing junior staff.
