Job Title: F&B Manager – Banquets & Outdoor Catering

Company: Nithyam Foods, Nithya Amirtham Indian Food (P) Ltd

Reporting To: Managing Director (MD)


Job Summary:-

Responsible for end-to-end management of banquet functions, outdoor catering events (including party and wedding orders), ensuring smooth operations, exceptional food quality, and client satisfaction. The role demands strong coordination, sales acumen, planning, and execution of catering services aligned with Nithyam Foods' brand standards.


Key Responsibilities:-

Client Coordination & Sales:-

Handle enquiries for party and wedding orders, banquets, and corporate catering.

Meet clients to understand requirements, customize menus, and finalize bookings.

Prepare and present quotations, negotiate pricing, and close deals.

Event Planning & Execution:-

Plan and organize all logistics for events including staffing, food production, transportation, and setup.

Coordinate with kitchen, service staff, and logistics team to ensure timely and quality service.

Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event evaluations.

Menu Planning & Customization:-

Work with culinary team to develop customized menus for weddings, parties, and corporate events based on client preferences and budgets.

Ensure adherence to traditional and authentic Indian food standards, aligned with the Nithyam Foods brand.

Operations & Quality Control:-

Supervise event execution, monitor food quality, presentation, and service.

Ensure hygiene, safety, and compliance with food standards.

Team Management:-

Train and supervise banquet and outdoor catering staff.

Maintain a high level of service quality and team discipline.

Reporting & Coordination:-

Provide regular updates to the MD on sales performance, client feedback, and event execution.

Maintain documentation of bookings, costing, and feedback.

Vendor & Resource Management:-

Liaise with third-party vendors (venues, decorators, rental services) when necessary.

Optimize use of internal and external resources for seamless operations.


Key Skills Required:-

Strong interpersonal and client-handling skills

Knowledge of Indian food and traditional wedding cuisines

Excellent planning, organizational, and multitasking skills

Leadership and team coordination abilities

Sales and negotiation skills

Ability to work under pressure and during peak seasons (e.g., wedding season)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60, ₹80,000.00 per month
