Job Role: Site Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all team members adhere to and enforce strict adherence to established safety protocols.
  • Develop and implement day-to-day operational plans for the effective management of cast house runners, including maintenance of shift logs, thermo couple records, and essential safety documents.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of thermo couple trends to optimize runner reliability.
  • Maintain exceptional site cleanliness and uphold customer expectations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate documentation of safety and maintenance procedures as per set standards.
  • Plan and execute major/minor repair projects, ensuring timely completion and optimal performance of runners beyond target campaign life.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge, best practices, and techniques, driving excellence across sites.
  • Optimize resource utilization, reducing downtime and contributing significantly to overall productivity.
  • Lead and train contract personnel, focusing on achieving set goals and objectives.
  • Establish strong relationships with customer site teams, enhancing the Calderys brand reputation.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Relevant academic qualification in Ceramic, Metallurgy, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a relevant role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Thorough understanding of casting processes and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

  • Quality control and assurance expertise.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Professional certifications in engineering or quality management.
