Bureau Veritas Group seeks a Credit Control Manager to oversee entire operations of credit control department. This role is responsible for ensuring correct execution, including advising the back office team on reporting and invoicing, of all orders for inspection and testing services - in accordance with order requirements, client standard operating procedures, industry standards, business standards or policy directives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage entire operations of credit control department
- Ensure clear communication to all internal and external interfaces
- Prepare information materials needed to manage cash collection in close cooperation with Line Management
- Implement general credit and collection policy as approved by Head office and assure adherence to accepted standards
The ideal candidate will have a Graduate (B.Com) / Post Graduate in Commerce degree with minimum 5 years' experience in accounting and at least 3 years in Credit control function. Essential skills include excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, good communication and presentation skills, good analytical skills, change orientation & adaptability to situations, customer focus, and proficiency in MS office. Knowledge of GST and TDS is also required.
Estimated salary for this position is around $80,000 per annum. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing client accounts, advising Business Line Managers in coordination with Finance Controller to take necessary actions to control bad debt situations. They will also monitor and periodically circulate list of bad debt accounts and charges to respective business line managers and regional general managers.
