Job Title: Senior Manager

The Senior Manager is a key role in ensuring the seamless operations workflow. This position plays a crucial part in retaining and acquiring new clientele by implementing efficient execution strategies.

The team requires a skilled Senior Manager - Operations, Sustainability Solutions to support the timely compliance with rules on behalf of Brands required to fulfill their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) targets for plastic and e-waste.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure brands comply with existing rules and regulations.
  • Maintain standardized formats according to government, brand, or Recykal requirements.
  • Document collections and verification as per commitment given to brands.
  • Foster proactive follow-ups with key brands and stakeholders associated with Recykal.
  • Monitor details for compliance-related documentation.
  • Coordinate multiple teams on-field and off-field.
  • Enhance team efficiency by building optimized processes for completions.
  • Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
  • Pursue strategic and operational objectives actively.
  • Ensure operational activities remain on time and within defined parameters.
  • Track staffing requirements and hire new employees as needed.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a large team in a demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
  • Partner with cross-functional support teams to improve implementation processes.
  • Collaborate with legal and safety departments to ensure activities remain compliant.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience handling operations.
  • Prior experience in waste management is advantageous.
  • Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with solid ability to persuade others, build consensus, and work in a team.
