Environmental & Sustainability Professional

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Environmental & Sustainability Professional to join our team in creating a greener future through impactful sustainability strategies.

About the Role:

  • Sustainability Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive sustainability initiatives that support long-term environmental goals, minimizing the company's ecological footprint and ensuring business continuity.
  • Strategic Analysis: Collect, analyze, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including carbon emissions, energy usage, and waste management data.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with local and international environmental regulations, supporting audits, maintaining documentation, and implementing corrective actions where needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal departments, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to promote sustainable practices, fostering a culture of corporate responsibility.
  • Research and Development: Stay ahead of industry trends by researching new technologies, materials, and methods to enhance sustainability performance.
  • Training and Capacity Building: Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on sustainability best practices, environmental compliance, and corporate social responsibility.
  • Project Execution: Lead or support green projects such as energy efficiency upgrades, waste reduction initiatives, and sustainability certifications (e.g., ISO 14001, LEED).

Requirements:

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability program management, or ESG reporting within a corporate or consulting environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in sustainability frameworks such as GRI, CDP, SASB, or ISO 14001.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and engaging way to diverse audiences.
