EHS Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive EHS Safety Officer to join our team. As an EHS Safety Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of employees and preventing accidents.

The EHS Safety Officer will be responsible for advising and assisting factory management in fulfilling its obligations concerning prevention of personal injuries and maintaining a safe working environment.

You will advise on safety aspects in all job studies, carry out detailed job safety studies, check and evaluate the effectiveness of action taken or proposed to prevent accidents, and design and conduct safety training for employees at all levels.

You will also take the help of various techniques for identifying hazards and risk analysis, be proactive in designing, implementing, sustaining, and improving Management Systems like OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, etc., and maintain the Environmental Management System in the Plant.

Furthermore, you will monitor and measure workplace environment, ETP & STP, Consent, and NoC, liaise with external agencies, implement, monitor, and review Safety Systems according to Factories Act 1948, communicate incident/accident information, investigate, analyze, and recommend corrective and preventive actions, maintain fire extinguishers inspection, HIRA, and relevant HSE logs and documentation.

To succeed as an EHS Safety Officer, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

You should also have knowledge of Factory Acts, OSH Laws, Regulations, and International Standards related to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and experience in conducting Risk Assessments, Audits, and Inspections.

A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred, along with certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or CIH.
