Senior Legal Executive Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Legal Executive to join our team. As a Senior Legal Executive, you will play a critical role in shaping the legal strategy of our organization.

  • Contract Reviews and Negotiations: You will review and negotiate contracts across various jurisdictions, including US, UK, and EU. Your expertise in contract redlining and negotiation will be essential in ensuring that our agreements are fair and beneficial to both parties.
  • Data Privacy: You will handle data privacy matters, including legal research, drafting privacy-related clauses, and staying current with global regulatory developments. Your knowledge of GDPR, DPDPA (India), and other privacy laws will be crucial in this role.
  • Legal Advice: You will provide legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms, ensuring that our business operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with our team to attend customer and vendor negotiation calls, providing expert guidance and support.

Requirements:

  • Law Degree: A law degree is mandatory for this position. We are looking for a qualified lawyer with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT/software industry.
  • Contract Expertise: You must have strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts, such as NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and DPAs.
  • Data Privacy Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws, including GDPR, and experience with related documentation is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills are necessary for this role, as you will need to effectively communicate with stakeholders, including customers and vendors.
