Higher Education Career Advisor

We're seeking a driven and results-oriented Higher Education Career Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our enrollment team, you will play a crucial role in guiding students through their higher education journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective students via calls, emails, and chats to counsel them on degree programs from reputed universities.
  • Understand each student's academic background, career aspirations, and challenges to provide tailored program recommendations.
  • Drive enrollments by building rapport, addressing objections, and guiding students through the complete admission process.
  • Maintain a student-first approach to ensure a smooth and positive counseling experience from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales strategies with ongoing campaigns and university offerings.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed weekly/monthly enrollment targets through structured follow-ups and relationship management.
  • Stay updated on degree program details, industry trends, and competitor offerings to deliver accurate and compelling guidance.
  • Record and maintain detailed student interaction data in CRM systems with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • 2–4 years of experience in inside sales or counseling, preferably in the EdTech or higher education sector.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/enrollment targets.
  • Strong consultative selling and counseling abilities with the power to influence decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a student-centric approach.
  • Ability to manage high volumes of leads and close enrollments efficiently.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales software will be an added advantage.
