Procurement Manager Role

The primary function of the Procurement Manager will be to oversee and manage all procurement activities, ensuring seamless execution across various tender processes.

This includes actively monitoring tender opportunities, providing strategic advice on participation decisions, and guaranteeing deadlines and progress are met in a timely manner.

The role involves drafting tender texts, building a comprehensive library of such documents, and verifying that all necessary submissions are accurate and submitted within the allotted timeframe.

The position also encompasses overseeing the progress of tender projects and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken for submitted tenders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Initiating and coordinating the entire tender process
  • Reviewing tender documents and supervising the compilation of required materials for bids
  • Preparing pre-qualification bids with standard company information
  • Monitoring bid management to ensure alignment with organizational requirements
  • Detailed analysis and understanding of tenders and related documents
  • Ability to comprehend financial statements
  • Financial reporting and analysis, including reviewing tender-wise profitability and cost reports
  • Ensuring adherence to internal financial controls related to tender business
  • Maintaining accurate documentation for tax compliance, invoicing, and audit purposes
  • Vendor registration/compliance for third-party vendors

Eligibility Criteria:

  • 3-4 years' experience preferred in Tender processing

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in Tender business
  • Experience in using portals such as GeM and mahatender
  • Proficiency in Financial tools and technology
  • Fluency in Marathi and English communication
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines
