Document Processing Role

The Document Processing Specialist is a critical role responsible for the timely and accurate incorporation of new content, publications, and revisions to existing publications in our Regulatory Library and Maintenance Library content repositories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming content in paper and electronic formats, including PDF-based integration for electronic and paper distribution, database entry, and maintenance schedule integration.
  • Schedule and assign document processing work within the broader Content Repository group and coordinate activities associated with scheduled publishing revisions.

In this role, you will work closely with the Content Repository Manager to ensure that all duties are performed efficiently and effectively. If you have advanced skills in Adobe Acrobat, a strong understanding of the Production 2.0 system, and excellent organizational skills, we encourage you to apply.

Performance Objectives:
  • In your first 30 days, inspect incoming content for completeness and legibility, validate page counts, and report errors or issues to the Cataloger or Acquisition Specialist as appropriate.
  • In your first 90 days, process documents according to established work procedures for the type of document and intended media for distribution.
  • In your first 6 months, perform review of other Document Processor completed work as a quality control check, notify the original Document Processor as appropriate, and make corrective actions or edits as required.

We are looking for a flexible individual who can work occasional evenings and weekends to meet business demands. The ideal candidate will be accountable, comfortable rolling up their sleeves, and delivering on a short timeline with limited resources. They will also be proactive, able to plan and communicate progress, and anticipate risks and issues.
