Job Title: Real Estate Tax Resolution Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join our organization as a Real Estate Tax Resolution Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for researching and resolving tax-related issues for clients.

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who can analyze complex tax data and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience working with tax servicing platforms.

This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze tax payment records, escrow accounts, and disbursement histories to identify overpayments or incorrect tax submissions.
  • Coordinate with county/state tax authorities to initiate and track refund requests.
  • Prepare refund documentation and reconcile amounts to ensure compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of refund cases in tracking systems and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., finance, accounting, business administration).
  • 1-2 years of experience in real estate tax servicing, mortgage operations, or financial services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and databases, as well as experience with tax servicing platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
