Job Title:

Data Governance Manager - Compliance and Risk Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Governance professional to lead our compliance, risk management, and service management operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leverage industry-recognized frameworks to oversee governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and controls to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee policy development, compliance tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives in IT service management.
  • Coordinate risk assessments, audit readiness activities, and regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, auditors, and regulators to align IT processes with organizational goals.
  • Maintain and manage the IT governance calendar, including governance forums, meetings, and action tracking.
  • Provide expert guidance on governance best practices, control mechanisms, and compliance frameworks.
  • Prepare governance documentation, dashboards, and reports for senior management, risk committees, and audit boards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, ITSM, Compliance, or Risk Management roles.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 20000 frameworks.
  • Proven track record of policy development, audit readiness, and governance program execution.
  • Excellent understanding of IT risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as COBIT, ITIL Expert, ISO 20000, CISA, or CGEIT are highly desirable.
