We are seeking a seasoned Business Manager to lead our sales efforts in various sectors. Based in India, this role involves driving commercial growth and building strong relationships with key clients.

About the Role

As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for generating business opportunities, leading projects, and maintaining existing client relationships. You will work closely with our teams to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Focus on identifying new business opportunities in commercial laundry machines and dishwashers for hospitals, hotels, educational institutes, and government sectors.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize effective GTM strategies to attract new leads and update our CRM system regularly.
  • Market Penetration: Conduct targeted cold calling to generate demand from new and existing prospects.
  • Project Execution: Drive large-scale projects in government sectors, including hospitals, railways, and defense, ensuring timely execution and satisfactory results.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with hotel and pharma industry leaders, as well as kitchen equipment dealers.
  • Corporate Engagement: Negotiate with corporate clients and kitchen equipment dealers to secure annual contracts based on their requirements.
  • Closing Deals: Effectively close commercial discussions, manage Average Selling Price (ASP) and Monthly Operating Payment (MOP), and ensure seamless project delivery.
  • BOQ Management: Review customer Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and submit competitive commercial offers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) or equivalent, preferably with an MBA from a reputable university.
  • At least 4 years of experience in B2B sales, specifically in machinery/equipment sectors.
  • Strong learning attitude, goal orientation, technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and experience with CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with sales processes, government business, and various sectors like HORECA, education, healthcare, etc.
  • Understanding of pricing, margins, profit, and loss.
  • Experience with negotiation and contract management.
