About the Role:
The Assistant Company Secretary will be responsible for handling ROC matters of private companies, preparing agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs), and following up on action points. Additionally, the role involves maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries, handling correspondence, collating information, and communicating decisions of relevant subsidiary companies, preparing the annual report, managing compliance of deemed public and private companies, and assisting in compliances under SEBI Regulation, Companies Act, 2013, and secretarial standards.
Responsibilities:
- Handling ROC matters of private companies
- Preparing agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs) and following up on action points
- Maintaining statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries
- Handling correspondence, collating information, and communicating decisions of relevant subsidiary companies
- Preparing the annual report
- Managing compliance of deemed public and private companies
- Assisting in compliances under SEBI Regulation, Companies Act, 2013, and secretarial standards
Requirements:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- An ability to take initiative
- A flexible and practical approach to work
- Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure
- Qualification: Qualified / Semi Qualified Company Secretary
- Experience: 3-4 years
