Job Description:

This role is responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences throughout their stay.

  • Process all guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and requests for room changes or late check-outs in a timely manner.
  • Secure payments and activate/reissue room keys as needed.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Communicate effectively with staff to address guest needs and concerns.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests by answering and resolving their queries efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room status and guest concerns.
  • File guest paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station and respond to guest calls promptly.
  • Run and check daily reports, contingency lists, and credit card authorization reports to identify areas for improvement.
  • Supply guests with directions and information regarding hotel facilities and services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related work experience not necessary.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
