Endpoint Support Specialist

As an Endpoint Support Specialist at ATS Automation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the consistent, cost-effective, and quality support of all company endpoints and services. Your responsibilities will include managing end-user device support, from technology selection and procurement to configuration, upgrades, and Tier 2 and 3 Service Desk support.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day end-point software support for SCCM and Intune, as well as remote support for computer hardware or software break/fix and request tickets.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and address tickets as they arrive to the End User Technology Support queue, maintaining appropriate SLAs and escalating issues to responsible teams when out of scope.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, striving to attain the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Use Microsoft SCCM and Endpoint Manager to build and deliver software and patches to all endpoints, and image our fleet of computers for repairs, evergreening, and computer refreshes, as well as new user setups.
- Configure computers with commonly used software products such as Windows 10, Office 365 applications, SolidWorks, VPN client, Adobe suite, and other related engineering software.
- Provide support and administration for iPhone mobile devices, telephony, conferencing, and communication technologies.
- Support and train users on end-user productivity technologies, including Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration productivity tools.
- Configure and maintain conference room equipment, including TVs, projectors, and AV equipment.
- Troubleshoot Windows network accounts, including password resets, account lockout, and enabling/disabling accounts using Azure AD.
- Manage IT asset purchasing, tracking, inventory, e-waste, and disposal of PC hardware and peripheral equipment.
- Remove computer viruses and malware, and administer related services.
- Set up and support printers and photocopiers, as well as provide administrative services.
- Assist in setting up and providing support for virtual machines in VMware Horizon Client and VMware Workstation.
- Provide basic training on the use of VPN and ATS standard software to new users when required.
- Contribute to the internal knowledge database to enable team members to troubleshoot problems.
2-3+ years of related Service Desk, Desktop Support, End User Services, or System Administration experience.
Troubleshooting skills for PC hardware and software, including Active Directory, Office applications, Exchange/E-mail, and virtual desktop infrastructure.
Expert knowledge of the latest Windows desktop operating systems and PowerShell scripting, GPO, Microsoft SCCM/Endpoint Manager, Intune, or similar technologies.
Knowledge of iOS and iPhone, as well as MDM platforms, is an asset.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 technologies and administration.
General network communications knowledge with switches, routers, TCP/IP, wireless, DNS/DHCP.
Qualifications:Education: Any graduate program majoring in Computer Science or a related study.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+, MCSE, CCNA, ITIL would be an asset.
