Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing Strategy & Planning: Develop effective strategies to source world-class materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that meet ultra-luxury project standards.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Build long-term relationships with reputable vendors, conduct audits to ensure compliance with quality and sustainability standards, and negotiate contracts.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and finalize contracts with contractors and suppliers, ensuring legal and commercial safeguards, monitor contract execution, variations, claims, and dispute resolution.
- Cost Control & Value Engineering: Lead value engineering exercises without compromising design aesthetics or material quality, monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options to ensure cost competitiveness.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and mentor a high-performing Purchase team, work closely with project management, design, and construction teams to align procurement schedules with project milestones.
- Risk, Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Identify and mitigate procurement risks such as supplier disruptions, cost escalation, or regulatory non-compliance.
Qualification, Experience & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Commerce; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in procurement and contracts, with at least 7 years in leadership roles within luxury real estate.
- Proven track record in sourcing premium international materials.
- Strong legal and commercial acumen in contract management.
- Excellent negotiation, vendor relationship, and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to global procurement markets and luxury design trends.
