Senior Executive Purchase

Overview:

Our organization seeks a seasoned Senior Executive to lead our procurement team. This role requires a proven leader with expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and procurement of raw materials, components, consumables, and tooling for manufacturing operations.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
  • Creating and monitoring purchase orders aligned with production schedules and inventory levels.
  • Negotiating prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Tracking market trends and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end procurement alignment.
  • Maintaining documentation for audits, vendor evaluations, and management reporting.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Operations Management or related field (mandatory).
  • 3-4 years of hands-on procurement experience in an automotive ancillary or Tier 1 supplier environment.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / others).
  • Familiarity with automotive standards and documentation.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
