Job Title:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to oversee the entire procurement lifecycle for our solar EPC projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing vendor strategies, ensuring cost optimization, and driving efficient sourcing of key materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end procurement process, including strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Drive procurement planning aligned with project timelines and organizational goals.
  • Manage key vendor relationships at a senior level.
  • Identify and onboard reliable vendors for solar components and services.
  • Conduct regular vendor evaluations and audits for quality, performance, compliance, and cost.
  • Negotiate long-term contracts and strategic alliances with suppliers.
  • Develop and implement cost-control strategies to optimize procurement spend.
  • Analyze supplier quotations and conduct thorough commercial evaluations.
  • Benchmark pricing and procurement terms across the industry.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal procurement policies, statutory guidelines, and project specifications.
  • Maintain transparent documentation and reporting mechanisms for audits and internal controls.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Management, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics teams.
  • Monitor material requirement plans and proactively address supply risks or delays.
  • Resolve escalated supplier disputes or operational bottlenecks.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team to build capability and performance.
  • Establish KPIs, monitor progress, and drive process improvements across the department.
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of solar project procurement, including components such as PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, and Balance of Systems (BoS).
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier negotiations.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to lead cross-functional teams.
