Project Manager Role

This is a pivotal role in the clean energy sector, where you will lead and manage the execution of utility-scale solar power projects. You will be responsible for developing project execution strategies, schedules, and budgets; monitoring progress against targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Manage Project Execution: Oversee the development and implementation of project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Strategic Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans, driving business growth and market expansion.
  • Vendor Management: Foster strong relationships with EPC contractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure seamless project delivery and quality assurance.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, commercial, and finance teams to ensure alignment of project objectives and efficient resource utilization.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with project execution, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, statutory, and environmental requirements, minimizing project delays and costs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain effective stakeholder engagement strategies, fostering strong relationships with internal teams, local authorities, and external partners.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering or related field; MBA preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in project execution within the power/renewables sector, with at least 7-10 years in solar projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering large utility-scale solar projects (>50 MW) on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, contracts (EPC, O&M), and supply chain processes.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, grid connectivity, and renewable energy compliances.
