Rooftop Solar Engineer Job

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in rooftop solar installations at scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project execution and review work with internal teams, ensuring timely delivery of end-to-end EPC solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative rooftop solar systems, focusing on design optimization, packaging, and tool-less installation methodologies.
  • Assist in design reviews for rooftop kits and contribute to the development of new 'click system' and tool-less installation methods.
  • Analyze installer feedback and compile insights for product improvement.
Design Innovation and Product Development
  • Develop and refine 'click system' and tool-less installation methods for rooftop kits, ensuring seamless installation experiences.
Cost Optimization and Vendor Management
  • Work with stakeholders to prepare detailed cost breakdowns for 3 KWP rooftop systems, ensuring cost-effectiveness and innovative solutions.
Packaging Simplification and Installation Efficiency
  • Design and implement innovative packaging methodologies inspired by IKEA-style kits, prioritizing installer-friendliness and efficiency.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's is a plus) and 3+ years of experience in rooftop solar EPC, preferably with 3–10 kWp systems. Strong knowledge of electrical design, installation, and commissioning of solar rooftop projects required.
