Job Title: Contract Review & Compliance Specialist

 

Overview

This is a critical role that requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual to ensure our company's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. The successful candidate will work closely with senior legal counsel and other departments to safeguard the company's legal interests.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and draft contracts, including supplier agreements, vendor contracts, client agreements, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements (NDAs).
  • Ensure contracts comply with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Assist in the development of standard contract templates and processes.
  • Work closely with business teams to advise on day-to-day issues and concerns related to client agreements.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions.
  • Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments.
  • Support the development and implementation of compliance programs, policies, and training materials.
  • Advise on corporate governance, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Provide advice and recommendations on legal risks and compliance matters to internal stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent degree.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house experience.
  • Proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication (written and verbal) and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of contract laws and commercial agreements.
