Contract Review Specialist Role

About the Position:

The Contract Review Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating contracts across various jurisdictions. The role involves providing legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing contracts, focusing on customer and vendor agreements.
  • Providing legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms.
  • Attending negotiation calls with the team or independently.
  • Handling data privacy matters, including research, drafting clauses in contracts, and staying current with regulatory developments.
  • Reviewing documents and policies specific to different jurisdictions.
  • Drafting standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process.

Requirements:

  • Law graduate with approximately 4-6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in the IT/software industry.
  • Strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts.
  • In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws and experience with related documentation.
  • Knowledge about SaaS contracts is an added advantage.
  • Experience with legal technology tools and AI-powered platforms is an advantage.
  • Understanding of employment contracts and related matters in India is an added advantage.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A five-day office presence is mandatory for this position.
