Job Description

The Payroll Trainee plays a pivotal role in the success of our payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in timesheet processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Timesheet Verification: Review submitted timesheets for accuracy and compliance with internal policies and client-specific requirements.
  • Mailbox Management: Manage the payroll department's mailbox, responding to queries and organizing incoming timesheets and documents.
  • Data Integrity: Verify data entries for inconsistencies or errors, ensuring accurate payroll data before processing.
  • Error-Free Processing: Maintain flawless records by accurately saving timesheets and updating trackers.
  • Special Instructions: Identify and communicate special payroll instructions, such as adjustments, bonuses, or deductions, to ensure correct application.
  • Invoice Support: Prepare supporting documentation for client invoices, ensuring all necessary timesheet and payroll data is available and correctly formatted.
  • Record Maintenance: Update and maintain payroll records, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and secure storage.
  • Confidentiality: Handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and adhere to data protection protocols.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to meet deadlines and support shared goals.
