Job Title: Business System Analyst As a Business System Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business change and innovation. Your expertise in systems analysis and technical skills will be instrumental in identifying opportunities to improve processes, streamline operations, and enhance overall performance.This dynamic and forward-thinking team is responsible for implementing and maintaining cutting-edge HR systems that support seamless employee onboarding, talent management, and benefits administration.The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data management and reporting, with experience working with Sage People or similar HR systems. Additionally, excellent stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and process improvement skills are essential for success in this role.A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude, you will work closely with People Operations and functional leaders to resolve issues, maintain systems, and deliver real-time people analytics.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the Sage People HR system
  • Act as first-line support for systems queries
  • Provide second-line support for system-related queries from the wider business
  • Develop and implement workflows that align with business policies and support the entire employee lifecycle
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of new functionalities across Core HRIS, Talent, Performance, Integrations, Pay Flow, Benefits, and LMS
  • Provide system configuration, troubleshooting, and day-to-day end-user support
  • Produce and interpret reports and dashboards for people analytics
  • Perform regular audits, system updates, and ensure compliance with data policies such as GDPR
  • Deliver training and documentation to users on system functionality and self-service processes
  • Work collaboratively with People, IT, Payroll, and external vendors to identify gaps, implement improvements, and support system developments
  • Support strategic HR initiatives through the system by providing technical expertise and data insights
Requirements:
  • Proven experience with Sage People or similar HR systems
  • Strong data management and reporting skills
  • Understanding of HR workflows, employee lifecycle, and people policies
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
  • Excellent stakeholder communication, problem-solving, and process improvement skills
  • Experience delivering training or user support on HR systems
  • Knowledge of GDPR and HR data compliance requirements
