Job Title: Human Resource Information System Specialist

 

This role is responsible for the administration, implementation, and maintenance of the HRIS system to support the organization's human resource functions. The successful candidate will be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and have a strong understanding of HRIS structure, functions, and processes.

 

  • Manage the configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of the HRIS system.
  • Project manage system implementations and ensure projects and tasks are completed as assigned.
  • Document configuration processes and key decisions in support of change management and communications.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during implementations and escalate feedback to the implementation team.
  • Provide regional end-user support on data entry procedures, system navigation, and reporting.
  • Analyze HR functional business and system processes and recommend improvements to meet business needs.
  • Ensure data standards through automation, set up preventative controls, data audits, and working with the business for corrections.
  • Establish and maintain business and compliance reports and dashboards for leaders.
  • Create and deliver training for new users, managers, and HR leaders globally.
  • Ensure accuracy and data integrity of the HRIS system through periodic reviews and audits.
  • Lead sustainment planning for HR technology, including release planning.
  • Support other HRIS projects as required.
  • Manage integrations with both HR and D&T systems.
  • Work with our Success Factors Partner EX3 on provisioning requirements, troubleshooting, and implementation projects.
  • Partner with SAP on module stabilization reviews and lead the project to action findings and support change management.
  • Line manager responsibility for HRIS Specialists.

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, specifically v-lookups, pivot tables, conditional formatting, and advanced formula writing.
  • Strong understanding of HRIS structure, functions, and processes.
  • Familiar with Success Factors modules, including Employee Central, Performance Management, Compensation, Learning Management, Succession, Onboarding, and Recruiting.
  • Experience collaborating with all levels of management and colleagues in other areas, such as IT and Compliance.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users and facilitate effective outcomes.
  • Must be able to independently prioritize assignments based on urgency and communicate timelines effectively.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
