Job Description

The Technical Support Specialist role is a pivotal position within our organization, focusing on delivering high-level technical support to the Construction team. This involves collaborating with various stakeholders including sales, design, and customer service teams.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch technical assistance, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring seamless problem resolution. Additionally, they will be expected to maintain strong relationships with internal and external installation companies, manufacturers, and customers.

This role requires a proactive approach to quality control, involving the collection of feedback from installers and helping streamline installer-related activities. The Technical Support Specialist must also prioritize and schedule customer-requested service maintenance requests in a timely manner.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position, as well as the ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in the solar industry or education in renewable energy is preferred.
  • Can-do attitude, willingness to learn.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Sound computer skills.
  • Engineering qualification, technical support service, or Service Engineer background.
  • Experience in Solar and battery system fault diagnosis preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, solar, and battery systems.
  • Ability to read and follow electrical diagrams.
  • Good practical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong telephone manners and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision.
