Bid Management Expertise
As a seasoned Bid Manager, you will be responsible for leading end-to-end B2B Sales Process management. Your primary goal is to drive business growth by delivering high-quality proposals that meet client expectations.
">- Develop and execute comprehensive bid strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure timely and accurate proposal submissions while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across regions to drive mutual understanding and successful partnerships.
- Lead the creation of compelling bid content, including win themes, differentiators, and persuasive arguments.
- Collaborate with team members to assign tasks, ensure deadlines are met, and maintain momentum throughout the process.
- Manage post-bid activities, including follow-up communication and transition to contract execution if successful.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Growth and Account Managers to develop clear win strategies for each bid.
- Identify and articulate bid response expectations, ensuring all team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Craft compelling win themes that differentiate the proposal, emphasizing strengths, past successes, and alignment with client goals.
- Create timelines, assign roles, and ensure all team members meet deadlines, keeping the process organized and efficient.
- Engage and collaborate with cross-functional bid teams, assigning tasks, and ensuring deadlines are met. Resolve conflicts and maintain momentum throughout the process.
- Contribute to Solutioning and Commercial discussions, providing valuable insights where possible.
- Oversee bid writing and content creation, ensuring clarity and persuasiveness in proposal documents.
- Coordinate accurate cost breakdowns and pricing strategies for bids, considering profitability and market competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements of the tendering process.
- Organize reviews to refine the proposal, incorporating feedback to strengthen the pitch.
- Follow up with clients after bid submission, address any questions, and manage the transition to contract execution if successful.
Content Management:
- Stay up-to-date on technical and functional specifications related to advertising, content production, and retail activation.
- Prepare and review various aspects of pitch responses, ensuring all services are included.
- Regularly refresh data repositories with updated case studies and company information/FAQs.
Team Management:
- Be an internal source of expertise in creative production and retail activation operations, helping team members respond swiftly and concisely to RFI/RFP requirements.
- Assign job flows from regions, support and mentor team members as needed.
- Continuously improve through best practices learned and executed during bids.
- Attend internal meetings as a representative when required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Project Management: Strong organization skills to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Strategic Thinking and Planning: Ability to analyze proposal requirements align with client needs.
- Commercial Acumen: Understanding pricing strategies, cost modeling, and risk assessment.
- Writing and Communication: Exceptional ability to craft clear, persuasive, and concise bid content.
- Stakeholder Management: Proficiency in collaborating with diverse teams and managing relationships.
- Attention to Detail: Reviewing proposal documents, ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the relevant sector to tailor proposals to client expectations and market trends.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years' experience in proposal management in B2B Sales.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in Creative Production and Retail Activation industry.
