Key Account Manager Role

The Key Account Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with valued customers.

  • This involves developing trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors to deliver solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Frequent communication of progress on monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders ensures transparency and trust throughout the relationship.

To achieve this goal, the Key Account Manager will:

  1. Forecast and track key account metrics to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  2. Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and maintaining a strong personal network.
  3. Promote the department's reputation by accepting ownership for new requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Client Service Focus

The Key Account Manager must keep current clients satisfied by delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis. This includes identifying and addressing client needs promptly and efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
