Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior IP Leader to join our team in Shivamogga, India. This key position will play a crucial role in managing and enforcing intellectual property processes to ensure the optimal protection of our company's assets.

About the Role:

  • This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and managing our company's growing IP portfolio, working closely with global teams and stakeholders to identify and protect valuable inventions and innovations.
  • The successful candidate will lead a team of IP professionals to develop and implement effective strategies for protecting our company's intellectual property, including patent filing and prosecution, licensing, and litigation support.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including research and development, regulatory affairs, and legal, to provide strategic advice and guidance on intellectual property matters.
  • Manage patent, trademark, copyright, and related issues, ensuring that our company's intellectual property is properly protected and valued.

Requirements:

  • PhD or postgraduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
  • Desirable additional specialization in Intellectual Property.
  • At least 13+ years of work experience in a reputable Global Pharmaceutical company, with proven team handling skills and experience in product IP clearances, patent drafting and prosecution, and ancillary areas.
  • Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, and team-player skills, with ability to work in a deadline-dictated environment.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
