Role Overview
As a Lead Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies and driving business growth. Your role involves covering the entire sales cycle, from identifying new opportunities to closing deals. You will work closely with our management team to set targets and ensure seamless execution.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the sports broadcasting industry, including sponsorship and digital media. They will possess excellent negotiation skills, ability to build long-term relationships, and expertise in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth
- Cover the full sales cycle, from prospect identification to deal closure
- Collaborate with the management team to set targets and achieve them
- BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND PARTNERS
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities
- Track and report on sales performance, including targets, pipeline activity, and revenue generation
Requirements
- 7-9 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in sports broadcasting or a related industry
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or a related field
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing business relationships
- Strong understanding of the sports broadcasting and media industry, including sponsorship and digital media
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close deals
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
- A genuine interest in sports and understanding of the sports media landscape
