Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Upwork professional to lead our bidding team and drive business growth. As a strategic Bidding & Business Development Manager, you will define strategies, optimize proposals, select high-value projects, mentor the team, and increase conversion rates.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of proven Upwork experience, strong expertise in proposal writing, negotiation, and client communication, as well as experience managing a team of bidders (minimum 3 members). They should have a deep understanding of Upwork algorithms, client behaviors, and platform updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective bidding strategies
  • Select high-value projects and optimize proposals for success
  • Mentor and guide the bidding team to improve performance
  • Drive higher conversion rates and revenue growth

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Upwork bidding experience with a strong track record of closing high-value projects
  • Experience managing a team of bidders (minimum 3 members)
  • Strong understanding of Upwork algorithms, client behaviors, and platform updates
  • Expertise in proposal writing, negotiation, and client communication
  • Ability to work with international clients (USA, Europe, Middle East, East Asia, Australia)
  • Knowledge of software development services (Mobile, Web, CRM, ERP, Odoo, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Excellent written and spoken English
