Job Description:

The successful candidate will lead the bid management and tendering activities, driving growth and expansion in the oil and gas, energy sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tenders for key clients
  • End-to-end bid management, including technical writeups, cost estimation, subcontracting, joint ventures, client liaisoning, and project management
  • Identify relevant tenders from PSUs, government agencies, and private companies through various resources
  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and coordinate with central functions for bid compliance
  • Coordinate with execution teams and maintain relationships with external parties for bidding jobs

Responsibilities also include:

  • Liaising and day-to-day correspondence with customers and handling legal contractual correspondences
  • Generating MIS reports and tender tracking updates
  • Achieving order booking targets from tenders
  • Maintaining documentation and updating credentials regularly
  • Business sales forecasting and ensuring new empanelment and renewal of existing ones with PSU and other agencies

Requirements:

  • B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with 10 years of experience in bidding/tendering; overall 10-15 years of experience
  • MBA preferred

Competencies:

  • Knowledge of bidding & tendering activity
  • Strategic and analytical ability, with good writing and calculation skills
