Procurement Operations Manager Job Description:

This position involves handling day-to-day procurement operations processes, including the conversion of purchase requisitions to purchase orders, fixed asset creation and capitalization, supplier re-certification, contract drafting, and system updates.

As a key member of the team, you will contribute to key performance metrics such as Service Level Agreement (SLA), Quality & Efficiency by collaborating with Category Managers, Accounts Payable, Vendor Risk Management Office, Corporate Ethics & Compliance Teams, Information Security & Privacy, and Contingent Workforce Program team.

You will analyze data and take action within the realm of activities as a buyer, building and publishing weekly/monthly reports for the team, and representing the team on various internal forums.

Effective customer relationships are crucial in this role, requiring timely resolution of user queries, building awareness of common pitfalls, and conducting periodic or need-based reviews with key partners.

Candidates will carry out special projects and drive continuous improvements, owning and delivering various projects to achieve Operational Excellence and Scalability.

The ideal candidate will provide clear guidance and support to internal partners on procurement policies and standard methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in any subject area
  • At least 5-7 years of validated experience in Procurement Operations with exposure to both product and services procurement
  • Thorough knowledge of procurement processes is essential
  • Experience with P2P tools like Ariba/Coupa and ERP systems like SAP/Oracle is required
  • Working experience in multi-cultural/multi-region Shared Services or Procurement organization is an advantage
