Job Title: Professional Beverage Service Specialist

The role of the Professional Beverage Service Specialist is to ensure that all beverage orders are prepared and served to guests in a timely and professional manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing beverages according to recipes using measuring systems.
  • Serving wine, champagne, and other beverages to guests.
  • Setting up and maintaining cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
  • Preparing garnishes for drinks.
  • Stocking ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
  • Transporting supplies to bar set-up area.
  • Washing soiled glassware.
  • Removing soiled wares from bar top and tables and placing them in designated areas.
  • Anticipating and communicating replenishment needs.
  • Processing all payment methods.
  • Counting bank at end of shift, completing designated cashier reports, resolving any discrepancies, dropping off receipts, and securing bank.
  • Securing liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
  • Completing closing duties.
  • Following all company policies and procedures; reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and completing safety training and certifications.
  • Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information, and protecting company assets.
