Procurement Consultant Job Description

About the Role

As a procurement consultant, you will drive SAP Ariba implementation and rollout projects. You will lead workshops with client procurement business teams to understand their current purchasing configuration in the SAP Ariba system.

  1. Implementation of SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Ariba Supplier Risk Management modules requires strong technical expertise. Our ideal candidate will have experience in implementing these modules and managing complex technical configurations.
  2. Integration of Ariba with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA using CIG is a critical skill for this role. The successful candidate should be able to design and implement seamless integrations between systems.
  3. Collaboration with technical teams during the build phase of the engagement is essential for delivering projects on time. Our ideal candidate should be able to communicate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
  4. Go-live and Hypercare support are crucial phases of the project lifecycle. The successful candidate should be able to provide high-quality support to clients during these phases.
  5. Experience in requirement gathering activities, creating functional and technical documentation, and troubleshooting technical problems is essential for this role. Our ideal candidate should be able to document complex technical issues and provide solutions.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills, are required for this role. The successful candidate should be able to work independently with customers and deliver projects on time.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in SAP Ariba implementation and rollout
  • Strong technical expertise in SAP Ariba Supplier Lifecycle and Ariba Supplier Risk Management modules
  • Experience in integration of Ariba with SAP ECC or S/4 HANA using CIG
