
Australian B2B Business Development Representative

About this role:
This key position is focused on the Australian B2B market. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, engaging and qualifying potential business leads in Australia.
The primary objective of this role is to build a strong pipeline of opportunities through close collaboration with the Sales and Business Development teams, ensuring consistent growth in customer acquisition.
Main Responsibilities:
- Identify potential B2B prospects across various industries in Australia, including retail, marketing agencies, education, and technology.
- Generate leads via cold calling, email campaigns and other outbound methods.
- Qualify prospects based on their business needs, budget and readiness to adopt communication solutions.
- Schedule discovery calls and product demos for the Sales team.
- Maintain accurate lead and activity records in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine targeting strategies and outreach messaging.
- Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly lead generation targets.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in B2B lead generation, preferably for international markets (Australia/US/UK).
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Strong research skills using industry directories and prospecting tools.
- Ability to confidently conduct cold calls and email outreach.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar).
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working in early morning shifts.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in SaaS, Telecom, or CRM-related services.
- Knowledge of Australian business culture and sales approach.
- Prior experience working with B2B decision-makers (CEOs, Marketing Managers, IT Heads).
