Job Description:

A challenging opportunity exists for a Strategic Partnerships Director to lead corporate affairs initiatives in the Andhra Pradesh region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading regular interactions with government officials, monitoring regulatory compliance, developing crisis communication protocols, and tracking policy developments affecting the steel/manufacturing sector.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in engaging with government and industry leaders, handling media during crises, and proactively mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead land acquisition processes, liaison with revenue officials, and coordinate with legal teams on property-related matters.
  • Brief senior leadership on political developments and coordinate with various departments to align corporate affairs strategies with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in engaging with government and industry leaders.
  • Proven ability to handle media during crises.
  • Deep knowledge of land procurement, labour standards, and the socio-political landscape of Vijayawada/Andhra Pradesh.
  • Capability of developing and executing data-driven public affairs strategies.

Skills & Competencies:

Data-Driven Public Affairs Strategies: Develop and execute effective public affairs strategies based on data analysis and insights.

Crisis Communication Protocols: Develop and implement crisis communication protocols to effectively manage crises and maintain stakeholder relationships.

Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and laws governing industrial activities.

Government Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials and stakeholders to influence policy decisions and advance business interests.
