In this context, the Relationship Manager role supervises business delivery under a team and grows the business with profits through channel management. This involves managing banks, NBFCs, and other microfinance companies.
The role liaises with operations, product, process excellence, claims, finance, legal, business intelligence, marketing, and human resource teams to deliver excellent services to clients and banks.
Key Responsibilities
The RM is responsible for achieving overall gross written premium, which includes:
- Team Management: Leading and guiding a team to achieve goals.
- Channel Relationship: Building and maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Branch Visits: Regularly visiting branches to ensure smooth operations.
- Meetings: Conducting meetings with stakeholders to discuss business growth and challenges.
- Training: Providing regular training to bank employees on TAGIC products.
To maintain renewal of business, the RM must:
- Timely follow up with clients to ensure renewal.
- Track client interactions regularly to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Drive bank retention as a priority.
Maintaining hygiene in business operations is crucial, including:
- Proper quality control and issuance of collected premiums.
- Proactive handling of claims to minimize disputes.
The RM is also responsible for driving new business growth through:
- New Lines of Business (LOBs) and customized banking products.
