Business Development Executive Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to drive business growth through lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation Strategy:
    • Develop effective lead generation strategies to drive business growth.
    • Generate qualified leads through online platforms like Upwork and LinkedIn.
    • Prospect, identify, and acquire new clients primarily through inbound and outbound efforts.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
    • Understand client requirements, effectively communicate project scope, and propose solutions.
    • Regularly update clients on project status and deliverables.
  • Upwork Profile Management:
    • Proactively manage Upwork profile, bid on relevant projects, and communicate with potential clients.
    • Build a strong online presence and portfolio to attract and engage clients on Upwork.
    • Negotiate project terms, budgets, and timelines to close deals successfully.
  • Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitors' offerings.
    • Gather insights to develop strategies for positioning services in the competitive market.
  • Sales Performance & Target Achievement:
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs assigned by the organization.
    • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, follow-ups, and prospects in CRM.
  • Collaboration & Feedback:
    • Work closely with project management, marketing, and technical teams to ensure smooth project execution post-sale.
    • Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and potential service improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in business development, lead generation, and client handling.
  • Proficiency in Upwork platform and other freelancing platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate pricing and project timelines effectively.
  • Client Management: Experience in handling international clients and managing client relationships.
  • CRM: Familiarity with CRM software for lead management and sales tracking.
